‘American Hot’ Pasta Bake
Autumn is definitely in the air – I’m gravitating to creamy just one pans and roasted everything 🤣

Feeds 4 – 6
400g fusilli pasta
Oil for frying
1 onion finely sliced
1 crimson pepper finely sliced
1 clove garlic finely chopped
100g pepperoni slices finely sliced
12 slices of jalapeño (from a jar) finely chopped + further for the topping
1 tsp mixed herbs
800g passata
Salt and pepper
75g grated cheddar cheese
2 balls of mozarella
Place the pasta in a big saucepan. Go over in boiling salted h2o. Carry to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes or right until just cooked.
In the meantime. Warmth a drizzle of oil in a large non-stick pan.
Insert the onion and red pepper and fry on a medium warmth for 5 minutes.
Stir in the garlic, pepperoni and jalapeños and fry for 3 minutes.
Insert the blended herbs and fry for a last minute.
Stir in the passata and period with salt and pepper.
Carefully convey to the boil. When the pasta is cooked, just take 100ml of pasta h2o from the pan. Add it to the sauce with the drained pasta and cheddar cheese.
Stir right until the cheese has melted and the pasta is coated.
Pour the pasta in to an oven dish roughly 30cm x 20cm
Include the top rated with sliced mozarella and a couple extra jalapeños (dependent on how very hot you like it!)
Area less than the grill for a few minutes right until the the mozarella has melted and started off to flip golden brown
