Tragedy in Nepal as Plane Crashes into Mountainside, Killing All on Board

On Monday, a tiny plane carrying 23 people today crashed into a mountainside in Nepal, killing all on board. The aircraft, operated by Summit Air, was carrying a few crew associates and 20 passengers, most of whom ended up Nepalese citizens.

The plane had departed from the town of Lukla, in the foothills of the Himalayas, and was heading to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Witnesses documented that the plane experienced tried to acquire off from the small airport in Lukla, but had failed to obtain more than enough altitude and crashed into a nearby mountain.

The trigger of the crash is still unfamiliar, but authorities are investigating the incident. The climate in the region was reportedly apparent at the time of the crash, and the plane experienced been given authorization to just take off.
