***New tool in the @bourne.knives arsenal – a 50W fibre laser***

The latest tool in the @bourne.knives workshop is only a freakin laser beam! This 50W JPT fibre laser is the best on the market and comes from @jwlaser_lucas (who have superb customer service).

Not only does it allow me to add a consistent maker’s mark to my knives, it also allows for customisation and unique artwork to feature too.

This particular knife is one I am making for charity and features the Joint Services Command and Staff Course logo on the side. It’s also features the inscription “ACSC 25” which stands for the Advanced Command and Staff Course, which I am about to graduate from.

It’s taken me a couple of weeks of trial and error and testing to get to where I’m 100% happy with the results. I hope you agree that it’s turned out pretty well.

This laser engraver opens up a new world of possibilities and I’m very excited for what is to come.
