31 years ago, « the black album » came out! It’s the second album I listened when I discovered Metallica. This one is one of my favorite (I love them all btw 😳🤣)

  1. Sorry a va etre plate d’avance mais je me trouve drôle : is it the black friday ? 🤣🤣 sorry hahaha

Mais plus sérieusement. Un bon album avec des classiques di band !

  2. I have to go with Sad But True. While everyone, including the band and Bob Rock themselves, says that Enter Sandman was the song that set the style for the album, to me Sad But True is the quintessential Black Album song. Pristine drums, pounding bass, and James’s barrage of rhythm guitar tracks, which you can tell are multitracked but are played so tight that, to the untrained ear, they sound like just two. And those vocals man, the way James Hetfield embodies your evil doppelgänger flawlessly, how evil he sounds. My favorite part is the break in the middle of the solo, when Kirk takes a momentary step back and James comes in and breathes fire through the speakers. This song is, in my opinion, Metallica’s Back In Black.
