📝 Special Statement

⚡️ Get ready to rumble in the dungeon! ⚡️ You, brave hero, are about to dive headfirst into the monster-infested basement of DOOM! (Okay, maybe not doom, but definitely some seriously annoying critters.) Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and you kinda have to, since you're already here), is to conquer this subterranean lair and banish the beasties back to the shadow realm. But beware! These monsters have been chilling in the dark for WAY too long, and they're itching for a hero-sandwich. Also, watch out for those pesky potholes – one wrong step and it's splat!

Here's the lowdown on how to not become monster chow:

WASD/Arrow Keys: Stroll around like the hero you are.
Double Jump: Because single jumps are so last level.
CLICK + Mouse: Unleash your fury! Point and click your way to monster mayhem!
DOWN Arrow: Interact with stuff! (Like launching yourself to the stratosphere on those launch pads!)
SPACE: Dash through slime like a boss! (Slime? Seriously? This basement is weird.)
Pro Tips (because you'll need them):

R: Feeling lucky? Generate a brand new level of pain!
E: Become a dungeon designer! (Or just mess things up. Your call.)
P: Pause the action to catch your breath (or grab a snack).
[DEMO MODE] 'Press R to generate new level' (You've been warned!)

v4: We've crammed a shop into the dungeon (because shopping while monster-slaying is totally a thing). Improved monster spawning (more monsters = more fun, right?). Added a death state (oops!). Now enemies chase you when you're nearby (run, hero, run!). And we even made a starter area (level 0) so you don't get instantly obliterated.

v3: Dungeon generation is now so good, impossible levels are a thing of the past! (Unless you find a secret cheat code. Let us know if you do!) We've added pre-made rooms (for those who like things pre-made). New text graphics (fancy!). And we messed with the health bar (you still can't die... yet).
