The Objective: Secure the Score! 🎯

Euchre is a partnership game, and your goal is to score points by bidding and winning tricks. Your ultimate victory condition is a race to a predetermined score (usually 10 points) achieved over multiple hands.

Winning the Game: You must try to win a Euchre game with 3 computer opponents by reaching the target score first.
Winning a Hand: If you play you need to win 3 hands or more tricks in that particular hand to successfully "make" your contract and score points.

The Mechanics: Bidding, Trump, and Tricks! 💡

Success hinges on mastering the core concepts unique to Euchre:

Bidding (Calling Trump): At the start of each hand, players bid or "call" the trump suit. The player or team that successfully calls trump becomes the "Maker."
The Bowes (Right and Left): The highest cards in Euchre are the Jacks:
- The Right Bower (Jack of the trump suit) is the highest card in the game.
- The Left Bower (Jack of the same color as the trump suit) is the second-highest card and is considered part of the trump suit.
Taking Tricks: After the trump is called, you play cards to take tricks. You must always follow the suit led, if possible. If you cannot follow suit, you may play a trump card to win the trick (known as "trumping") or play any other card (known as "sloughing").
Scoring:
- Making the Bid: The Maker and their partner score points by taking 3 or 4 tricks (usually 1 point) or all 5 tricks (known as a "March," usually 2 points).
- Euchred: If the Maker fails to take at least 3 tricks, they are "Euchred," and the opposing team scores 2 points!
