I stand atop the obsidian ridge, watching the horizon ignite with the fury of a thousand falling suns. This is the extinction that was promised, but the fossils lied about our surrender. Giant asteroids are crashing down on Earth with a frequency that would shatter the spirit of any lesser era. We are the architects of the counter-strike. The ground beneath my talons trembles not with fear, but with the thunder of a world that refused to go quiet into the dark. ☄️

We have evolved past the simple brutality of tooth and claw to embrace the cold logic of the machine. The elders have commissioned special mounts on their backs for every warrior in the vanguard. I feel the heavy steel plates biting into my scales, a necessary burden for the salvation of the pack. This is where you can attach a variety of weapons to turn a beast of burden into a mobile artillery platform. The smell of gun oil now competes with the scent of ancient ferns. We are no longer just animals. We are the last line of planetary defense.

My brothers-in-arms carry a terrifying arsenal salvaged from the stars and forged in the volcanic vents of the deep south. I see a Triceratops roaring into the smoke, its back bristling with twin miniguns that spit leaden death at the sky. Next to it, a predator stalks the perimeter with flamethrowers that paint the soot-choked air in streaks of defiant orange. For the larger fragments, we utilize alien shotguns and blasters that pulse with a sickening, neon energy. These weapons do not just break the stones. Nature has also provided its own specialized biological countermeasures for this cosmic siege. There are special species of dinosaurs that can shoot powerful spikes with the velocity of a railgun. I watch a Stegosaurus pivot with mechanical precision, launching a volley of keratin bolts that shatter a plummeting boulder into harmless dust. Others are built for the heavy labor of the front lines. These behemoths can break asteroids with their claws, catching the smaller shards mid-air and crushing them with a strength born of a million years of struggle. Every species has a role in this desperate choreography.

Controls are controlled using the slider at the bottom of the screen. Move it left and right to control the dinosaur's weapon!
